Occasions
A birthday card and a retirement card are not prepared the same way. For each occasion: when to create it, whom to gather, and what to write.
What changes with the occasion
Lead time differs. A birthday needs three days, but a retirement takes a week just to track down current and former colleagues. Who you gather differs too. A wedding mixes both sides' friends, and for Teachers' Day parents sometimes write on behalf of their kids.
Tone differs as well. A military send-off suits half joke, half sincerity, while exam support is entirely about not adding pressure. Each article has the steps for that occasion, message examples by relationship, and the pitfalls that only come up there.
